An antidote to dissatisfaction

The antidote is gratitude.
I certainly think this is correct.
My day starts with gratitude.
When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is change the water in the flowers on the Buddhist altar, then I offer tea, water, fruit, and sweets.
Once I am ready, chant the sutra.
I would like to express my gratitude to my parents for giving birth to me and raising me.

Since retiring, I have been devoting myself to my hobbies and actively participating in volunteer activities.
One of my hobbies is piano lessons, and after each lesson I always leave the classroom thanking my teacher for the guidance she gave me.
When I happen to meet someone I know from volunteer activities in town, we exchange greetings.
These habits are small things, but they make me feel happy knowing that I’m not alone.

You don’t have to think too hard about it; expressing your gratitude to others, even if it’s just a short message, can be an inspiration in your daily life.

If it’s scientifically proven, why not take advantage of it?
