This video wasn’t very interesting.
It’s as if loneliness is a bad thing.
Is loneliness really that bad?
If you go to a bookstore these days, you’ll see so many books about loneliness.
That’s probably because more and more people are feeling lonely these days.
I believe that loneliness is what helps people grow.
Isolation is certainly not good. It refers to a situation where you have no connection to society at all.
In my case, from my experience of working as a member of society for 38 years, the stress from work and interpersonal relationships was immense.
I wanted to get out of this situation as soon as possible, so I increased my assets.
Thanks to that, I don’t need to be rehired, and now I spend each day feeling like I’m in paradise.
Of course, my connection to society isn’t through work; I maintain connections with people through hobbies and volunteer work.
Since it’s not work, there’s no stress.
I read books at home, cook, clean to change my mood, and go to the horse races. I live a carefree life.
I don’t feel lonely very often.
Which is more serious: the loneliness you feel when you’re alone, or the loneliness you feel when you’re surrounded by a family, friends?
I believe the latter overwhelmingly causes more damage to your health.
In the “life advice” columns published in newspapers, there are many articles such as, “I feel alienated even when I’m with my family, and I want to leave as soon as possible and live on my own, but
it’s financially difficult to do so, so is that the right thing to do?”
My husband retired and stays at home all day doing nothing. I want a divorce, but I’m holding back for financial reasons. What should I do?
In today’s world, more than being together, people want their own free time. Many people feel they want to be alone.
How ironic.
